Hi there, budding online entrepreneur!
If you’ve reached this page you’re probably serious about turning this “make money online” thing into a serious income.
I can tell you from personal experience that there are two mistakes newbies make when trying to build an income online:
(1) They wait too long to outsource
(2) They wait too long to find a mentor
How do I know newbies make these mistakes? Because I made them myself when I started out!
If I could do it all over again, I would have leveraged my time much sooner by hiring freelancers to do the things I couldn’t easily do (or had no interest in doing), and I would have invested some money in good-quality coaching.

Still not sure you want me as your coach? Read on…
If you’ve been learning about internet marketing for any length of time, you know that it has a LOT of “moving parts”.
Here are just a few of the things that you need to know to build a successful online business:
Each one of the topics above could be an entire college course (nay, a college DEGREE).
Learning each of those topics takes time. LOTS of time. Then there’s the trial-and-error necessary to learn what works in your specific niche!
But you don’t need to take years reading blogs and forums, buying the latest-and-greatest IM product, and waiting for traffic to your first website.
Hiring a coach can greatly flatten your learning curve – because a coach has “been there, done that”, and can tailor their knowledge and advice to not only your specific niche, but to your specific WEBSITE. Targeted advice beats generic advice any day!
If you’ve read my blogs posts and free report, you know that I have deep experience and knowledge of internet marketing, with a particular emphasis on getting inside the mind of target audiences. I’ve been an online marketer for six years, own dozens of sites that make me a good income each month, and have been around the block in many facets of IM.
(1) Getting inside the mind of your market
I have 10+ years’ experience in market research, both online and offline. I’ve designed and executed many large-scale surveys (again, both online and offline), and over the past 6 years have developed expert knowledge of using free online sources for market research.
Here are a few ways I can help you get in side the mind of your market:
Leveraging your time by using good-quality (but inexpensive) freelancers from countries like the Philippines and India is one of the smartest ways to accelerate your progress.
I currently have a small team of writers and SEO staff overseas, and have hired dozens of freelancers over the past 4 years. I can help you find freelancers that will make your life a LOT easier.
(3) Creating information products
I’ve created dozens of information products in different markets, and have used many different methods to obtain the information needed for those products. Those methods include:
(4) Getting traffic
Traffic is the lifeblood of the internet. Despite what Kevin Costner might say, even if you build it, they WON’T come – unless you know the ins and outs of getting traffic.
There are literally MILLIONS of websites on the internet that get exactly ZERO visits per month. And that’s because their owners don’t know anything about search engine optimization (SEO) or pay-per-click advertising.
I’ve been paying for advertising on various paid search platforms (notably Google Adwords and Bing/Yahoo) for three years, and have spent tens of thousands of dollars on paid search. I can confidently advise you on buying traffic.
While I don’t claim to be an expert in SEO, several years of monitoring my sites’ rankings have made me an “informed consumer” of what the search engines look for in a good website. For the hard-to-answer questions, I rely on the freelance SEO experts that I employ to get my sites good rankings.
(5) Email marketing
I’m an email marketing fanatic! And I’ve used many of the top email marketing services, including extensive experience with Aweber, iContact, Infusionsoft (which I don’t recommend, actually), and Ontraport (which I do recommend and currently use).
I can help you to develop a strategy for your email marketing – including building a framework for your autoresponder sequences, exactly what to include in your emails to build trust and increase sales, tips on subject lines, and more.
(6) Increasing website conversions
So you know the needs of your market, created a product (or chosen one to promote as an affiliate), put up a website, and are getting traffic. But are you making money?
Getting your visitors to “convert” (whether a conversion means a visitor buys your information product, clicks on an Adsense ad, or gives you their email address) is one of the final steps in the make-money-online process.
I’ve conducted hundreds of tests to optimize conversions on my sites, including testing ad placement, sales page elements, page copy, headlines – you name it. I can advise you on WHAT to test, and HOW to test it.
If you’re a complete newbie to Internet marketing (less than six months of learning), my coaching program probably isn’t for you.
Because if you’ve just started out in IM, you need to take the time to learn the basics. And that’s best learned through some reading, and some doing.
Here’s where to start if you’re completely “wet under the ears”:
Step #1: Read my post entitled Affiliate Pinball: How to Stop Bouncing Between Online Business Models.
I wrote that post after receiving the umpteenth anguished email from a subscriber saying they were new to IM, and how they felt like a chicken with its head cut off.
Step #2: Read my free report entitled “Finding a Niche, It Doesn’t Have to Be a Bitch: How to Find a Hungry Market in 4 Simple Steps”. The report discusses many of the fundamentals of setting up an online business (a SUSTAINABLE online business).
Step #3: Understand that making money online is a commitment. There are lots of people who will tell you that it’s possible to push this button, or install that software, and the cash will start flowing in. Well, that’s simply not true.
Like building an offline business, making money online requires time, effort, and money. (Of course, once you get the hang of it, making money in your sleep is addictive!)
If you’ve been learning about IM for more than six months, you understand all of the things I’ve said above, and you’re committed to making a go of this, then I can probably help you.
What’s worked best for me in the past is to schedule regular phone/Skype calls. On the calls, we can discuss problems that you’re currently facing and how to overcome them, I can review your site and make suggestions for improvement, and we can discuss anything else you’d like to.
We can also set up “homework” assignments for you to finish before the next call (the homework is optional, of course. As I say, the agenda is completely up to you).
I’m also open to other ways of communicating (e.g. only by email, instead of phone).
My coaching fee is pretty straightforward: $100 per hour.
If you’ve been learning about internet marketing for more than six months, and you already have a website up, I would recommend two hour-long sessions per month, one every two weeks (so the total monthly fee would be $200). In my experience, an hour-long call is enough time for me to diagnose your problems and suggest solutions.
I’m also available for a one-off telephone/Skype call, if you’d like to test things out.
