I’ll let you in on a secret …something you probably haven’t heard before:

Any online niche can be profitable.

That’s because profitability depends on a simple formula:

Traffic + Conversion = Profit

Traffic” can come from LOTS of places around the interwebs – Google, Bing, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and on and on…

Conversion” simply refers to the action that you want a visitor to your website to take…

A conversion can be a visitor clicking an Adsense ad, or clicking a button to go to an Amazon product page, or giving you their email address (which you use to start building a relationship and eventually offering products or services).

If you have loads of traffic that converts well, you’ll have a profitable website.

So how do you start getting traffic that converts?

For newbies, the best way is to find a niche that has:

  • A strong and evergreen need
  • Lots of low-competition searches
  • High-priced solutions

I call this the “NSS” model. You can see a graphic of the model at the top of this article. Here's a quick description of its components:

Need-Searches-Solutions (NSS): A Model for Finding Profitable Online Niches

Here's a quick explanation of each component. When considering a niche to build a site on, ask yourself the following questions:

1

Need

  • Is there a strong physical, utility, emotional, or passion need for solutions in the niche?
  • Is the need "evergreen"?

2

Searches

3

Solutions

  • Are people buying solutions online?
  • Are there high-priced offers you can promote as an affiliate (or easily create yourself)?

I’ve used this model to make money in dozens of niches, generating monthly cashflow and selling two sites in 2018 for USD $125,000.

In this guide I’m going to show you how to do it too, step-by-step.

I’ve organized the guide into modules, so you can skip ahead if you’ve already nailed one or more of the steps.

If you’re a newbie, I strongly recommend you start with the first module (on niche marketing) so you’ve got a good foundation.
